Some people allow other's to tell them what beauty is. That's why most women wear make up. When the movie, ';Pretty Woman'; came out, everyone said that Julia Roberts was ';so pretty';. I think she looks like an orangatang.
Different people have different tastes. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder?
Charles Darwin answered this question with his theory of natural selection. This theory is further explored in his book, On the Origin of Species. All animals have their own version of beauty or fitness. All animals want what they deem to be the best of the best for reproduction. Thus, the phrase,';Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.';
It is easy to make assumptions when it comes to this type of question. Five people might find Beyonce attractive, but each might have different reasons. Neither of the two that you mention are attractive from my perspective. Neither is pretty.
Attractive as a term that overlooks that each of us might find particular traits that we find attractive or unattractive in another person.
like ';Sponge B'; said, but also remember that we are also influenced by our past relations ships, lets say If i broke up with a stuck up blonde, I might not find a blond as beautiful as others,
.....our experiences shape our vision, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
Our brains are built to recognise certain facial features as being signs of youth, fertility, healthiness and basically good DNA.
When we see those features on someone, we consider them beautiful and want to mate with that person, because our DNA doesn't want to mate with Rosy O'Donald.
we are socially conditioned from when we are born and are influenced by everybody you meat, i think that it is because of this great variety of people we model on that make us who we are, and since no two people have the exact same models they have different likes and dislikes.
